Lisa has served as Executive Director of the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (IVMA) since 1996. She is a graduate of Indiana University and is a big Hoosier fan.As Executive Director of IVMA, she has overseen:• An expansion of member services that demonstrate association value• An increase in association members • An improved legislative presence• An update of the association governance structure • Yearly strategic goal reviews and assessmentsShe has been an active member of Veterinary Medical Association Executives (VMAE), serving as its president in 2002. Lisa served as chair of the VMAE’s national Power of 10 leadership program task force for 10 years. She is a member of the Indiana Society of Association Executives (ISAE) where she participates in the yearly Strategy Circles program. Lisa serves on ISAE’s Finance Committee and currently sits on the ISAE Board of Directors. Lisa is a current member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and has attained the Certified Association Executive (CAE) certification from ASAE. She is trained to deliver Insights Discovery. Insights is a powerful program which leads to understandings of yourself and others and how to best communicate and interact. She and her husband have two grown sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law and four beautiful granddaughters.
