As the inaugural head of institutional partnerships for the Columbia Climate School, I lead the institutional fundraising strategy to support Columbia University's newest school, which is developing innovative education, supporting groundbreaking research, and fostering essential solutions for climate and sustainability. I serve on the Dean's Strategic Planning Committee, Institutional Partnerships Committee, Environmental and Climate Justice at Columbia (ECJaC) Working Group, and have contributed to the School's DEIAAAJ Executive Plan. The Columbia Climate School's mission is to develop and inspire knowledge-based solutions and educate future leaders for just and prosperous societies on a healthy planet.

During my 7-year tenure at RMI, I helped drive over $80million in philanthropic revenue, which contributed to the organization's 7x growth over that time. I led a team of frontline fundraisers to solicit gifts and grants, primarily from institutional funders and family foundations, to fund RMI's programs in all aspects of the global energy transition. A results-driven leader and team builder, I focus on creating high value funding partnerships, empowering team members to succeed and take full ownership of their portfolios. I guided our development and program teams in the creation of compelling, cross-cutting initiatives and strategies to attract large-scale multi-year funding opportunities, maximizing alignment with funder coalitions, fellow NGOs, academic institutions, and front-line community based organizations.I am grateful to have played a key role in driving the growth that allowed RMI to deepen and strengthen its operational and programmatic capabilities and expand its global reach, in order to amplify, accelerate, and scale impact on a just, swift, energy transition. As a leader in DEI initiatives, I championed "equity-in" hiring and retention practices as well as "equity-out" to support environmental justice-focused metrics and outcomes through programmatic implementation.

Worked as a senior fundraiser for RMI's Development team, focusing primarily on Foundations, Corporations, and Individuals. My work spans our global energy portfolio of projects in Electricity, Buildings, Mobility, Methane, Urban Transformation, Climate Finance, and Decarbonization of hard-to-abate Industry sectors. With projects in the US, India, China, and the Global South, RMI's focus is to reduce fossil fuel emissions and increase the uptake of renewable, low-carbon energy sources to mitigate the effects of climate change and limit global warming to a 1.5 degree future. My portfolio includes cross-programmatic and inter-institutional partnerships for research and implementation efforts incorporating environmental justice, just transition, electrification, global cooling, climate policy, blended finance; and leading technologies such as green hydrogen, direct air capture, and methane emissions tracking and regulation.

I led the team on planning and executing COP21 engagement in Paris to elevate the Mailman School’s global leadership in climate change and public health education and research scholarship.

As Executive Director, I oversaw all fundraising, marketing & communications, human resources management, and operations of a leading academic center dedicated to advancing sustainable energy research. During my tenure, we increased exposure for cutting edge research in carbon management and sustainable energy technologies, including organizing the first international conference on Direct Air Capture. During this time, I was also Co-Founder/Co-Director of PositiveFeedback, an arts/climate change initiative of the Earth Institute, designed to connect and engage artists and scientists around climate change.
