My current role is as a Senior Manager within EY’s Performance Improvement practice, based in Sydney. In my role I work across a range of programs, including capital infrastructure and strategic transformation programs, in both public and private sector organisations. My core skills include operating model design and implementation, program and project management, stakeholder engagement, and program assurance.I have developed excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills through working with large teams and diverse stakeholder groups on complex programs. I have played a key integration role across large programs working with multiple stakeholder groups such as senior management teams, workstreams leads, project teams, technical teams and frontline personnel. I have worked across the program lifecycle, including program definition, business case development, delivery and closeout and have experience establishing and leading Program Management Offices (PMOs) responsible for RAIDD management, budgeting, scheduling, deliverable tracking and program reporting.

I worked on a diverse array of projects in my role at Neptune for a number of local and multinational companies, such as Apache, Woodside and Oil Search. At Neptune I had the opportunity to be involved in projects over their lifecycle, including the development of commercial proposals requiring initial costing, resource allocation and technical scope definition. I performed the role of project manager and client interface on projects, overseeing the management of engineers, technical draftspeople, fabricators, suppliers, offshore personnel and subcontractors. Through my role as a project manager, both working with and communicating between diverse groups of people, I developed robust stakeholder engagement skills. As part of my role I also gained expertise in budgeting, scheduling, deliverable tracking and project reporting. I performed the role of site project engineer on a number of offshore campaigns on oil platforms and vessels.To support the varied service solutions provided by Neptune I performed engineering design and generated a range of project documentation including basis of design, design reports, technical notes and installation procedures.

My key roles at Wood Group Kenny were as a design engineer on the Greater Western Flank 2 Project and the Browse Project for Woodside Energy Limited. I undertook a large range of mechanical design activities associated with subsea pipelines and initial costing estimates. I was exposed to the range of design considerations and strategic planning required for a project during early design phases. I was further involved in an extensive experimental testing scope of work for the Browse project being carried out at the University of Western Australia’s O-tube facility. I played a major role in the development and planning of a project specific scope of work which focused on conducting testing under prototype conditions to develop an understanding of the project specific environmental challenges being faced. I undertook the role of client supervisor on site, implementing and monitoring the project schedule while overseeing and reporting on the progress and results of testing. An integral part of this role was constantly communicating key observations to the numerous stakeholders involved as the testing progressed, to ensure the program was able to dynamically adjust and achieve its objectives. Offsite I was involved in the analysis of large volumes of data collected to support the key findings of the program. I was part of the Wood Group Kenny graduate and leadership program I undertook the training required to gain a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.

At Neptune I worked in both the Subsea Stabilisation and Subsea Developments division. In my role at the Subsea Stabilisation office I was involved in the design and engineering for a large number of projects concerning their 2 main product lines, concrete mattresses and groutbags. In my role I worked on designing appropriate solutions for pipeline crossings and freespan rectification, as well as solutions for the stability and protection of pipelines.At Subsea Developments I worked as part of the team providing a customised design, fabrication and installation plan on a project for Apache.

I attended monthly committee meetings to ensure I was up to date with the SUT’s actions and plans, enabling me to be an effective SUT representative on the university campus, and organise information events for students.

At Marine & Civil I was involved in the Barrow Island initial works for the Gorgon Project. Marine and Civil in a joint venture with Murray and Roberts Marine were under contract with Boskalis Australia for the construction of the Materials Offloading Facility (MOF) at Barrow Island. The MOF was to facilitate the offloading of the materials and the components to be used to construct the LNG processing facility on the island. The project also required the fit out and mobilisation of a large support barge from Henderson.
