I recently celebrated 6 years at Iowa Workforce Development, where as a Workforce Program Coordinator, I currently administer Iowa’s Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title IB Programs, lead the training team, and monitor the Local Workforce Development Areas for compliance and effective service delivery to ensure performance outcomes are met. In addition to WIOA, as a Management Analyst II, I performed quality assurance of program, operational, and managerial procedures and provided process improvement strategies to increase the federal participation rate and outcome measures of Iowa’s Promise Jobs Program. I love that I am part of a great team and have been able to bring our state’s workforce system into federal compliance.Prior to Iowa Workforce Development, I managed the quality assurance variable data proofing department and lead cross functional teams in the company-wide quality assurance and process improvement efforts at TPI, a variable data marketing vendor. Before TPI, I managed the substance abuse treatment programs for the Fifth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services where I belonged to the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers and lead the state’s implementation of evidence based practices.Throughout my 20+ years of professional experience, I have played integral roles in policy and procedure development, program design and management, staff development and training, quality assurance, process improvement, and performance monitoring. I am a respected leader with a strong drive to maximize efficiency, performance, and outcomes who is known for being a professional needle in the haystack finder for my attention to detail and my logical approach to work.Outside of work, I can be found watching TikToks my daughters send me, trying to beat my dad in cribbage, chatting with friends over coffee or dinner, and being a first time dog mom to Petunia the pug.I appreciate meeting people and learning new things, so please reach out and connect!
