I grew up in the suburbs of London and trained as an actress at the prestigious Drama Centre. I have been working in the entertainment industry, predominantly as an English voice-over artist in Paris, for more than 25 years.In 2012 I started writing/producing short films and now have a few under my belt.In 2022 I workshopped and directed a short play I wrote, entitled 'Home', at Collage Arts/McQueens Theatre. I also directed my first short, 'Just Jewish', a film I also co-wrote, produced and acted in.My first feature script ‘Amsterdam’ (developed with Film London & Creative England) is seeking finance. Actress/director Tara FitzGerald will direct.I was a BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew participant in 2018 & 2019 as a writer. (Previously, I was credited for my work as Lisa Jacobs, my birth name).
