This includes overseeing the full cycle recruitment process with accountability to provide recruiting expertise and guidance to ensure talent is obtained to staff the overall strategic goals of the organization.• Leading the development of talent pipelines and programs to ensure the growth of talent pools to support the needs of the business• Developing recruitment strategies to identify, attract, and recruit top talent through a variety of avenues, using industry best practices on a routine basis• Leading and driving functioning efficiencies to ensure a strong end to end recruiting process• Leading the team to a consistent hiring manager experience consisting of defining hiring needs; providing advisement on market conditions and implement sourcing and attraction strategies; providing candidate recommendations, interview training and recommendations for hiring.• Leading the team to a consistent candidate experience consisting of advising candidates of qualifications and fit openings; provide just in time communication through entire candidate experience.• Leading the development and integration of Workday recruiting module.• Managing the sourcing strategy for all non-clinical roles in all the USACS regions.• Developing and reporting monthly key metrics and provides quarterly trends.

An adult, tertiary-care, not-for-profit teaching hospital staffed by more than 5,000 healthcare professionals and support staff serving a population of more than 1.2 million people throughout Northeast Ohio. Directed the planning, strategy, and management of talent acquisition, volunteer management, employee work/life balance and recognition activities for the Health System. • Developed strategies to address immediate needs based upon metric based goals for acquiring talent for the health system.• Directed a department of one manager, three recruiters and three assistants.• Maintained an annual budget of $600,000 that directs the achievement of department goals.• Lead department through growth of recruitment opportunities, hiring more than 1,000 employees in one year of time, when the annual average in previous years was 300 hires.• Recruited, onboarded and transfered employees while maintaining standards set forth through collective bargaining agreements for Ohio Nurses Association and United Steel Workers.• Developed system wide recognition program for caregivers including an annual event with over 500 attending.• Guided the management of volunteer activities including 300 volunteers and two auxiliaries.

Responsible for leading, planning and coordinating the activities and daily operations of volunteer staff at the main campus and three Health and Wellness Centers. Responsible for leading, planning and coordinating activities of Akron General Health System that promote work/life balance, Perks at Work and recognition programs.• Maintained an annual budget of $120,000 that directs the achievement of department goals.• Strategically recruit for key positions in the medical center and Health and Wellness Center. Added volunteer positions in 9 key areas and 100 volunteers.• Managed a staff of 250 active volunteers, equivalent to 24 FTE. Includes coordination of daily schedules, performance management, and training and development of each volunteer.• Supported the Women’s Board and Service League on various projects including: producing monthly newsletters, new member orientation programs, fund raising events, annual Gala activities and annual meetings.• Planned annual student volunteer program for teen volunteers in which over 110 students were provided summer opportunities.• Planned and coordinated, within budget, annual volunteer recognition event for 200 volunteers and distinguished guests.• Directed employee volunteer programs such as United Way Day of Action, Habitat for Humanity, AkronReads, Salvation Army Kettle Drive and Akron General Adopt-A-Family program.
