Responsible for the proposal and successful execution of the combination of the Residential and Clinical Services Departments at CCARC. This transition directly led to more cohesive and efficient services for those we support. Effectively increased communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders which directly led to strengthened relationships across all service areas. Diligently worked across departments to resolve unanticipated situations resulting from COVID 19. Led the development and execution of programs and employee orientated guidelines and protocols throughout 2020 to ensure the health and safety of our programs and support teams. Striving to continuously enhance CCARC’s residential services program by being an active hands-on leader engaging with teams, families, and state agency partners to ensure high standards of programming and care.

Responsible for the administrative oversight of a complex program with a myriad of clinical needs. Provided leadership and supervision for the full team of clinical staff as well as for the coordination of community based clinical services required for those served by CCARC.Responsible for the oversight of the design, implementation and review of behavioral programs for individuals in on-site and community-based settings.Improved clinical based compliance with our contractual entities producing DDS clinical licensing reports with minimal citations.Built strong, collaborative, and trusting relationships with DDS Nursing and Clinical Support teams which led to increased partnerships and an enhancement of supports provided to those at CCARC. Improved collaboration and direct clinical supports provided to those supported by CCARC with the development of Clinical Days across the residential services program.

Responsible for the oversight of all behavioral support provided to those served by CCARC. Endorsed and approved by the Department of Developmental Services as a Qualified Provider of Clinical Behavior Supports as defined under the HCBS Waiver.Responsible for the successful development of CCARC Training curriculum for Positive Behavioral Approaches. A curriculum designed to help teach the support staff how to proactively address behavioral concerns within all IDD Programs.Development of agency training curriculum for Specialized Alzheimer’s / Dementia Training. Curriculum focused on understanding biological aspects of the disease as well as techniques and interventions to improve the quality of support, staff response, and daily interactions with those diagnosed.

Responsible for the design, implementation, training, and review of therapeutic treatment plans that aim to develop positive behavioral alternatives for individuals with IDD. Worked in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the behavioral services provided to the individuals were comprehensive, effective, efficient and always best practice. Primary team member responsible for completing the necessary documentation for the Program Review Committee (PRC) and Human Rights Committee (HRC) processes under the regulations of the Department of Developmental Services. In addition, collaborated with the Day Services team in the completion of Utilization Resource Reviews ensuring fiscal stability for continued funding of enhanced staffing supports. Worked in collaboration with Residential Teams to prepare data-based reviews to our community-based Psychiatrists. This analysis showcased the frequency of each individual’s behaviors, responses to medications, and/or changes in treatment plans since the previous psychiatric consultation.
