As an independent designer I worked on logo designs, brochures, ads, creation of websites, political campaigns, and photography.

After working in the Art Department as an Artist, I led the Company to create a Marketing Services Department which would take the responsibility for the design and layout of customized formal Proposals for full-scale lighting events such as “Lights on the Lake”. I also designed and created eye-catching support materials to assist our customers in acquiring sponsors for their holiday lighting events. I was solely responsible for the design of company-wide marketing materials. I was the staff photographer and also maintained a database of over 5,000 photographs, full-color renderings and drawings to help organize our library of artwork. I was also responsible for securing Copyrights and Trademarks on our artwork and concepts. As the Company grew, I supervised a staff of assistants and oversaw training of new employees and cross-training of all employees in marketing functions. Much of the training was related to the use of our Color Laser Copiers and full-color technology, which I supervised and maintained. As technology advanced the company expanded their horizons to the world wide web. I was part of the website team, and oversaw the editing and maintenance of the site.
