Living Stones Academy is a neighborhood Christian school committed to inspiring the minds and hearts of our students; equipping them to embrace cultural, economic, and racial diversity; and empowering them to love and serve in community. In my role I have had the privilege to be able to: - grow annual fundraising from $250,000 to over $500,000 in five years - assist with the completion of the first-ever capital campaign of $1.9 million and am the thrust behind our current capital campaign of $4.5 million (currently $2.4 million has been raised). - encourage the work of the Development Assistant and key volunteers, including the campaign co-chairs. - regularly meet and communicate with donors in a variety of settings: personal visits to the school, by Zoom, phone call, and personal emails. - responsible for the creating and implementation of the donor communication plan. This includes personal requests, follow up to meetings, sharing impact of a gift, grant proposals, organizational newsletters, emails, appeal letters and social media.http://www.livingstonesgr.org/

Led administrative team and teaching staff through the rigorous authorization process to become an IB World School (accomplished April 2015).Implemented IB curriculum in the fall of 2015 through leading and supporting a team of 8 teachers and staff.Developed and team-taught 13 workshops on research and writing to support the IB students in the completion of their extended essay (4,000-word research paper).Served as the key contact for parents and students.

Established the IB CAS extra-curricular and service-learning program at ICSV. Through this program, each IB student is involved in activities that develop their creativity, well-being and ability to serve others. Initiated and taught 10 workshops for students on topics related to CAS, such as reflection, planning and preparation for success, and empathy.Began a network of organizations and CAS advisers willing to supervise students.

Recruited and supported a team of volunteer coaches, who worked with over 50% of the ICSV Middle and High School students. Ensured the success of the ICSV after-school sports programs by supporting coaches through the handling of administrative details, such as scheduling, purchasing, budgeting and coordinating transportation.Developed a network of local contacts to create a full schedule of games and practice sessions. This work was done primarily in German.

Established relationships with key constituents both locally and in the United States to enhance staff recruitment and strengthen financial support. Successfully recruited 10 new teachers in the spring of 2012 . Initiated a successful donor program for the ICSV Scholarship Fund.

Assisted the Director of Development in strategic planning from beginning to end of a successful $25 million capital campaign and the $1,000,000 Annual Fund.Planned and executed six major, top-donor events each year.Provided administrative oversight for reporting, donor segmentation , data management for phonathon and direct mail, processing and documentation of gifts, data entry and reporting.Supervised the work of the Data Entry Clerk and Reunion Coordinator.Spearheaded the upgrade and integration of a school-wide ERP system (Blackbaud database products including Raiser’s Edge). Ensured the integrity of the database through documentation, training and support, and regular monitoring of the system.

Responsible for creation and timely delivery of communication tools for fundraising, marketing and communication for a large not-for-profit organization.
