About Lisa Schölin

I am a Public Health researcher with interest in prevention of substance-related harm and the relation between policy and health behaviour. I am particularly interested in issues relating to women and alcohol, and my PhD thesis focused on women's alcohol habits before and during pregnancy, and in identifying opportunities for prevention within health services. In my role at the University of Edinburgh I am involved in and lead on projects related to pesticide suicide, commercial determinants of health, and substance-related harm.
