To describe myself in 3 Words: Motivated. Capable. Approachable.Hello. My name is Lisa Simonis and am currently exploring career opportunities in the marketing realm. I am a recent graduate of UW Green Bay's business administration department with a emphasis in marketing. In addition, I am a corporate communications minor. I feel that these two point of emphasis give me a unique advantage in the professional environment. I have had course work in marketing that has taught me analytical skills necessary to make a business successful, but have also had public relations training that has taught me how to effectively implement these skills through proper communication. Over the last 8 years, I have been working as an equine instructor over the course of high school and college. Interestingly enough, this somewhat nontraditional work environment has taught me countess lessons in business operations and customer service, which I hope to apply as I embark on a new journey into the professional world. I have learned the importance of tailoring communication to each client and their specific needs, as well as assessing client goals and building roadmaps in order to reach those goals most effectively. Furthermore, I have worked a great deal under self-management, which has taught me discipline as well as developed a strong work ethic within me. I have carried this work ethic into my academic affairs, which is demonstrated with a strong GPA. I know the importance of a positive attitude, and I strive to bring one to every assignment. I have the skills, passion, and work ethic to prosper in the professional world. However, my current mission is find the right company to direct those traits toward, and ultimately, experience joint success.
