I have more than 13 years of experience in the field of psychology, more specifically working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as other intellectual and developmental disabilities between the ages of six and 21. As a clinician with Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s IDD Services for the past 12 years, I have successfully provided therapeutic services to individuals and families using a variety of interventions. Additionally, I work closely with the individuals, families, and communities as the individuals prepare for transition back home and into new educational session and into adult services, which could include identifying an appropriate employment option, vocational setting, and/or living arrangement. I also supervise the direct care staff to ensure treatment fidelity and integrity with the treatment plans and behavior support plans that I write for each individual. I have become a head coach of Devereux's Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) system which allows me to train, coach, and supervise new employees on the various aspects of this model to better treat the individuals in our care. I pride myself on working well within a multidisciplinary treatment team setting with highly praised communication, organization, and leadership skills.
