Undertaking the management and leadership of the WA Terminals and Logistics Engineering and Maintenance Services team, servicing the WA terminals and WA and VIC depots.Key Achievements:- Planned and managed a regional portfolio of project and maintenance activity, with a diverse mix of small, medium and large scale works with input into the wider 5 year regional capital project plan.- Performed role of Single Point of Accountability for regional capital projects less than $2 million.- Provided solid contribution to the T&L Engineering Services leadership team, through active participation and input into team meetings, CI projects and other initiatives.- Supported change management across a complex organisation, including utilising CI methodologies and managing stakeholder relationships.

The project was a fast tracked Channel Island Power Station (CIPS) project to install two Rolls Royce Trent 60 Gas Turbines, including the design and installation of their associated balance of plant, to have them operational during the high peak session in 2011. The role on the project was as engineering manager for Power and Water Corporation (NT) and the following was undertaken:- Temporarily re-located to Darwin to be seconded into PWC EPCM Management team- Managed two Engineering Consultancies (SKM / Aurecon) to undertake the engineering design for the project in regards to budget, schedule and scope- Prepared progress updates on the engineering for Project Manager- Coordinated and interacted with stakeholders including Project Manager, Construction Manager, Project Controls Manager and procurement, Vendors, NT Gas, PWC Networks group, CIPS personnel, Rolls Royce and Installation Contractor (Leighton)- Prepared the Scope of Work document for the Installation Contractor- Undertook tender analysis of long lead time items for purchase by PWCKey Achievements:- Acknowledged by Client as being part of the successful delivery of the project- Established strong relationships with stakeholders

Drove operations centre project delivery, trained project managers, and undertook project management for multi-disciplinary projects and project director roles for multiple projects.Key Achievements:- Developed a measurement tool that was used extensively throughout the company in Australia, which compiled information from multiple sources, to measure the performance of project managers and project directors, to enable monitoring, identification of areas for improvement and roll out of subsequent measures to improve performance- Consistent positive feedback from participants around enabling project managers to effectively manage projects through the facilitation of internal formal project management training in project management fundamentals and the use of SKM systems- Managed a project which required a series of reports and specifications for the conversion of a simple cycle gas turbine plant to a combined cycle plant

Senior lead control system engineer for the control system component on a number of large power station projects.Key Achievements:- Promoted to Section Manager within five months of joining- Lead control system engineer for the Alinta Wagerup Gas Turbine EPCM project (Feb 2006 - Feb 2008) with overall responsibility for the power station control system design, implementation, commissioning and integration into the adjacent Alcoa refinery control room. Role included the concept design development, determination of the process control requirements, preparation of the specifications, tender analysis and recommendation, contract management including budget, scope and change management, stakeholder management and supervising testing and commissioning- Managed effectively multiple stakeholders and coordinated activities with the overall works to deliver a timely and accepted solution for the role above

Key Achievements:- Managed and reviewed the design for the Boiler control system for Callide Power Station, QLD- Designed, integrated and commissioned the operator interface for the Demineralising Water Plant into the Station Plant DCS at Wallerawang Power Station, NSW- Developed an AutoLisp program to automatically draw loop schematics in AutoCAD, based on information contained in a Microsoft Access database- Part of the core team that successfully delivered the Wallerawang Control System upgrade within budget and schedule and to the satisfaction of the operating staff.
