Ms. Sterling’s program management support and technical participation included:Coordinated, facilitated, and managed multi-agency participation among the sponsoring agencies and stakeholders in the development of technical documents and reports related to the ecological effects of proposed water management practices.Participated in system-wide water resources planning activities to maximize environmental and socioeconomic benefits to the South Florida ecosystem and investigate various planning scenarios as requested by the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).Participated in the development of CERP’s Adaptive Management (AM) Strategy, including the implementation of AM techniques. AM is the structured process by which current project planning and implementation is designed to answer key uncertainties relevant to decision-making for following planning activities.Providing facilitation, as necessary, during small group meetings involving representives from multiple federal, state, local, and tribal governments.Providing technical input to program activities regarding water quality, hydrology, and other benefits to the natural system.
