Responsibilities include interacting with physicians, supporting hospital departments and other IS teams to complete needs analysis, design, integration, implementation, maintenance, training and security of physician clinical information systems. Often serves as project manager for assigned projects, providing effective management of project deliverables, developing and maintaining supporting documentation such as meeting minutes, flow charts, diagrams, issue logs, project specifications, projected hours for completion, coordination of implementation efforts with user departments and other IS teams for enhancements or new applications, providing training support via material creation or training classes. Performs changes to specific applications using appropriate tools to make screen changes, adding user fields, building user interfaces, modifying master files and profiles, SQL and/or Oracle queries. Functions as an on call resource for after hours issues for providers and other users as needed. Physician clinical information systems include, but are not limited to, Invision, LCR, Eclipsys, Logician, Mercury MD, Codonix, TransChart, 360 Care Insights and Lynx.

Analyze requirements, create complex test plans, and implement testing to verify updates to software, new enhancements. Verify bug fixes and user testing simulating user work flow. Document known issues, create and maintain Confluence articles, schedules and timelines for QA department & other company employees. Use JIRA software for bug or enhancement issues, use of Confluence to maintain online documentation, and discussions of current project questions. Work with automated test engineer to develop test plans based on functionality and requirements for automated testing environment and help troubleshoot issues found in that environment. Work individually and with a team (PM, Dev, QA) on testing projects, planning testing strategies, and documentation of QA testing scenarios. Participate in University training classes to learn new aspects of software and older versions of existing software for testing in both older and new versions of software. Review requirement documents, work with other employees of EHS to troubleshoot problems within the product, recreate client issues referred by support for further analysis, copy software builds. Work with Support, DBA, SYSADM, Product Managers, Client Specialists and Developers to recreate difficult client issues, test client software patches. Participate in Customer Conference yearly, interacting with the clients which include Physicians, Nurses, Clinic CEO’s, and various support staff to promote EHS to the clients, answer questions on new features, take suggestions or client concerns and facilitate client routing to the proper staff member to address their issues. Regression test Trunk for continuity prior to bronze every release. Serve as a resource to other EHS employees on enhancements that have been assigned, tested and closed once they are released to the user.

Product Management skills: Analyze needs of client through use of onsite interviews, email and regular weekly team meetings to review. On Site analysis of client work flow, evaluation of critical processes, implementation of solution, verification of client satisfaction for new or existing projects. Create detailed specifications for development of custom software application, updates and bug fix issues. Maintain contact with current clients to assess current and future needs. Documentation of custom software, create content for websites, prepare presentation material, brochures, graphics for presentations, determine layout of material, review and reorganize content provided by third party or client. Meet with upper management of the organization to discuss project and timelines. Quality Assurance skills: Testing of product before deployment, creation of timeline for project completion, work with client before and after implementation of site to fine tune any issues. Troubleshoot issues with software functionality, hardware related issues, create issues for developer, test fixes. Contact client with updates and changes. Management of Company including marketing, creation of branding increasing visibility, creation of forms from initial interview forms, development forms, proposals, contracts and invoices, cold calling worksheets, location of human resources, supervision and training of sales team. Creation of email marketing campaign for Property Development Company including design and text for HTML email. Client Account skills: Liaison between vendors and clients, accounting functions, project management, IT consulting and IT needs assessments, VPN/LAN development, network troubleshooting, and work with various software applications, phone support of clients. Work with clients from their initial service requests to the completion of projects including follow up on the quality of services provided, billing and collection of accounts.
