Ops DirectorSterling Green Plc 2004 - Mar 2014I joined a small financial solutions company (during April 2004) The company had 3 existing employees, with my brief being to grow & develop the company & its range of services.This included all internal/ external systems, processes & policies, initially reporting to the Directors & then ultimately to the board & CEO, once the company floated on the stock market.This included providing full business breakdown & analysis procedures, all aspects of HR systems & policies including all nature of contract requirement & legal/contract law application & support.I took the business from a small ‘Ltd’ company of 3 staff, with a turnover of £100-£120k per year, to a PLC, listed on AIM (Alternative Investments Market) with 50+ employees spread across 3 trading subsidiaries – Turnover was £4million+ with a market capital of £11million.I was solely responsible for the development and continued progression of a USP (unique selling point). This is the product that the ‘stock market’ invested in, which produced the float on AIM. I developed this product/service across a period of 3 years & it involved various presentations of statistics and income, along with market capability, followed by presentations to investors in London – thus ensuring continued investment in the Group.For this product/service I had to develop every facet the business may require, from reporting modules to physical day by day routines, whilst ensuring that all activity for the Group was monitored.I managed this trading subsidiary directly with two staff employed to cover the client from initial sale to administration.Directly managed & supported a management team of 5 managers, across 3 trading subsidiaries.
