Identifies new opportunities for HR to add value and contributes to HR projects that support the business goals. Develops and implements staffing and recruitment plan/programs. Resolves employee relations cases by working with managers to influence a positive and proactive workplace environment.

Develops advertisements, assess the effectiveness of recruitment activities, ensures compliance with legal requirements, and implements other recruiting programs as needed. Manages the recruiting process by preparing postings, screening, qualifying, interviewing, selecting and hiring candidates. Runs background and credit checks on all potential new hires. Works with the VP Human Resources and applicable management to ensure salaries are current with market and equitable within the organization and prepares offer letters. Maintains the ADP Applicant Tracking System. Trains managers and supervisors on usage for recruiting. Administers all employee benefit programs. In conjunction with the VP of Human resources, prepares documentation for terminating employees, performs exit interviewsand reviews results with applicable management. Handles all FMLA, COBRA, Workers compensation and disability claims. Assists employees with problem claim resolutionand follows up with employees on leave. Tracks and processes 90 day reviews and assists in the annual review process. Oversees the job description updating process. Works with management to modify and finalize all job descriptions in a timely manner.
