With a wealth of experience in government affairs, my role as Chief of Staff, Government Affairs at the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives encompasses steering legislative and regulatory policy efforts. My team and I collaborate to set priorities, manage political action, and cultivate influential relationships that empower the agricultural community and drive impactful policy changes.Growing up on a cattle and horse ranch in South Texas, I know firsthand what it means to depend on production agriculture for your livelihood. In my professional career as a congressional staffer and working for agricultural trade associations, I am proud to advocate for America's farmers and ranchers and their farmer-owned co-ops.
