•Conceptulise innovative event ideas, and present complete ideas from preplanning stage to completion, including budget. •Produce successful events for under utlised venues on complex, including innovative ways to use existing spaces. •Identify opportunities and innovative ways to drive revenue during valley periods. •Support and assist the gaming department with guest hospitality and unique events to target relevant customers. •Create interesting moments on complex during busy periods to create excitement and adhere to brand identity. •Assist with marketing and promotions of all events on complex.•Continuously look for innovative ways to improve events. •Develop and maintain a network of clients, customers, media personnel and suppliers. •Streamline event procedures for all departments and contractors on complex. •Create and manage the event diary for complex, to include merging gaming related events, all entertainment into one standard calendar. •Create and compile an Event brief, detailing all the information regarding the event, requirements and setup for each department and communicate this document to the complex. •Liaise with food and beverage suppliers regarding requirements for events, review and select menu, décor and ensure that delivery of items are carried out as per the event brief and client satisfaction. •Compile with all health and safety requirements for each event; perform audits and complete checklist on a regular basis. •Generate reports and post-analysis of events, covering budget management, customer/guest feedback, occupancy/ foot traffic and success/failure to top management. •Management of the onsite banqueting departments; Fedics leisure and HLM. Compile yearly budget for the Event department and propose individual budget for each event.

•Oversee all operations of three entertainment venues on complex, and to ensure the smooth running of all productions in these venues -Showbar, Mardi Gras Theatre, Big Top Arena •Management of local and international shows, productions and conferences.•Management of the IVTM technical staff, consisting of 18 crew members, security, hospitality staff. •Briefing all relevant departments of setups, requirements for each show in the various venues •Communicate with promoters, production, tour managers and clients on each event being held in the venue regarding technical, security, catering, health and safety requirements. •Managing floor plans and adjusting accordingly to requirements set out per venue. •Oversee the maintenance of all venues, to ensure the space is in good working condition.•Manage internal and external supplier relationships.•Ensure all projects and processes are managed in accordance with internal compliance. •Overseeing administration process and standards. •Sourcing of technical equipment, props and staging as required within budget. •Health and Safety rep for the Entertainment department; attend meetings and adhere to all health and safety requirements set out. •Maintenance- inspect equipment on a regular basis ensure timely completion of repairs when needed, keep maintenance file up to date and keep excellent service standards.
