Lisa has a proven track record for leading diverse teams and resources to meet organizational objectives. Her healthcare leadership experience includes Corporate Compliance, HIPAA Privacy, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Quality Assurance programs, NCQA Accreditation, CARF Accreditation, Ethics Management, external government audits, IRS Form 990 reporting and Patient Rights for Joint Commission Accreditation and healthcare finance. She has played critical roles in meaningful use, electronic health records implementation, managed care contracting, budget and reimbursement. Lisa has been a member of HFMA for more than twenty years. She serves as a member of the NJ HFMA Board. She is also currently the Chairperson of the Education Committee and the Co-Chairperson of the Women’s Leadership and Development Event. In addition, Lisa was the Co-Chairperson for the CARE Forum (Compliance, Audit, Risk and Ethics) for the New Jersey Chapter. She previously served as Chair of the Finance and Education Committees. Prior to that, Lisa was on the NJ HFMA Board for four years. She has received many HFMA awards including the Founders Medal of Honor Award in 2011. In 2021 she received an award for the member in a non-Leadership Position Award. She was the author of six Yerger awards for the NJ Chapter. In addition, Lisa received the NJ Chapter Achievement award in 2005. She has served as a chairperson, speaker and moderator for many NJ HFMA conferences on a wide variety of topics.Lisa is also a member of the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) and is certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) and certified in Health Care Privacy (CHPC). She is also certified in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She received her BA in Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton and holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health.
