After having the honor of being a live-in nanny for three Air Force families, plus having the privilege of meeting other officers in all branches of the military, their children, and their nannies. As the owner of NannyTainment, I have met more military families through both our hotel childcare babysitting, and in coordinating teams for Military retreats, balls, I have learned a lot about some of the unique challenges small and large that families and their caregivers contend with in the course of being service to our nation.Due to my interest in continuing education and professional development, I have met a wide range of individuals in positions that serve military families. What I wasn't seeing was a support system for the military nanny. I also found a had a lot of experience to contribute to the dialogue on needs of the military families on their own individual home fronts.Over time, it lead me to realize the need for a niche nanny placement service for our military families experiencing changes due to PCS, deployment, injury, and death. I didn't want to just put nannies into homes, but to provide a support system for the caregivers,children, and families.Over time, thought and consideration, Home Front Nannies has started.
