· Teach 27 students in a mainstream, regular education classroom. · Participate in a Looping Program and teach students for two years · Utilize multiple teaching methods that include visual, tactical, and auditory materials to reinforce complex concepts. · Expand the range of learning through whole class, individual, and small group instruction. · Challenge students to master basic skills in math, reading, and writing through various techniques while accepting their individual needs. · Integrate technology into the curriculum through the use of computer lab assignments, a classroom web page, a classroom Wiki, an interactive white boardand Internet. · Communicate with parents regularly through the use of our classroom website, email, and weekly newsletters, encouraging parental support, and assistance throughout the year. · Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students experiencing educational or personal challenges.
