I was the lead bathymetric engineer at EdgeTech. I assisted in the development of special projects and managed EdgeTech's bathymetry product line. I was also involved in the development of swath bathymetric sonar systems for hosted platforms such as Deep Tows, AUVs, ASVs, etc., while maintaining my involvement in software development, customer support, and hydrographic surveying.

On a daily basis I worked on various tasks ranging from beam pattern predictions and determining system specifications to data analysis and customer support. I also worked with a team of software engineers to design the sonar control and acquisition software for some of our products. Furthermore, I was involved in several research and development projects at EdgeTech, such as compact sonar systems for AUV deployments, side scan, and swath bathymetry sonar systems.

As a graduate student, I developed a detection and classification algorithm for forward looking sonar systems, while working on several other projects. Such tasks included designing and building floating test platforms, carrying out numerous sea trials with acoustic equipment, and performing scientific dives to set up underwater test sites.
