I was responsible for Iowa City Area Development Group’s site location databases and to assist companies and location consultants to locate available commercial and industrial buildings and sites in the Iowa City area. I coordinated with local community representatives and local realtors to maintain their information and building and site inventories. I prepared a database and maintained community and area information including demographics, transportation and quality of life statistics. While at ICAD I worked with existing firms and initiated communications to attract new businesses to Corridor as well as prepared communications with ICAD investors, partners and mentors. I assisted with site visits and provided pertinent information for new companies to the Iowa City Area.I also maintained the organization’s financial records including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the organization’s investments and department records including minutes and official records of the board of directors.

While at APAC I supervised and led the graphics team, designing advertisements, brochures and many other forms of visual communication for all internal departments. It was my responsibility to ensure that the delivered products and services adhered to the policies and standards of the company. My responsibilities included overseeing that quality work was completed within the deadline, completing the project work within the timelines and estimated budgets. I dealt with the internal clients and was the point of contact for the graphic communications for all employees and internal customers.I oversaw that new techniques, equipment and processes were implemented to provide best quality of designs. Choosing the right style, attractive graphics, images, and other visual elements to adept them according to the objectives of the project.
