Responsibilities included consolidation and financial reporting for 5 legal entities, including a Medical and Veterinarian school. Relocated corporate office from Niceville, FL to Orlando, FL. Managed staff that was on-site and remote, cash management, pension, banking, insurance, departmental budgeting, created/updated policies and procedures for both schools to streamline processes and reduce cost, monthly financial variance analysis, and other reports required by CFO. Also was a key member of system conversion, converting from Quickbooks to Netsuite. Reduced full-time position to part-time by reallocating resources and responsibilities within the company. Reduced costs and administrative overhead by converting from manual in-house credit card processing system to external vendor, saving ¾ administrative time.

Managed financial consolidation and budgets for 8 business units with 3 foreign entities. Weekly International forecast reporting. Led migration project that required relocation of all accounting/finance functions from 3 other US locations to Florida. Managed up to 15 employees. Key member of discovery/implementation team for SAP conversion. Implemented sales and use tax software in remote location. Implemented time and attendance system and trained employees in 3 different locations. Key member in updating SOX to better reflect company’s procedures.

Managed accounting policies, budgets, forecasts and procedures for division. Reduction in force due to merging 3 divisions to 2 dvisions. Key member of company’s reorganization planning team.
