NCLR is a non-profit, public interest law firm that litigates precedent-setting cases at the trial and appellate court levels; advocates for equitable public policies affecting the LGBTQ community; provides free legal assistance to LGBTQ people and their legal advocates; and conducts community education on LGBTQ issues.I provide strategic financial leadership in partnership with the board of directors, senior management, and the finance committee to support and improve NCLR's long-term financial health. I also lead the ongoing implementation of new systems and roles to help lead NCLR to the next stage of its tactical and strategic growth.

I served as Finance Director for the Humanities Division where I oversaw a budget of $19MM in operating funds, $3MM of extramural grant funding, and $6MM of endowment funds. I performed short and long-range planning for gift and grant administration, organizational and endowment development, and financial reporting and business processes.

I oversaw an operating budget of $10MM and supervised a professional staff of 5 and student staff of 13. I led accounting services, information technology, and risk management and provided business services for the CSU University Union and WELL Corporations. Our operating clients consisted of 50 full-time staff, over 250 part-time staff and six internal programs.
