Government Affairs professional with three decades of experience both inside of government and representing private sector organizations, both externally and internally, before government at the local, state, and federal levels. I am a deep dive policy wonk who strives to deeply understand the issues and organizations I represent. My approach to government affairs is to lead with a nuanced strategy of establishing authentic relationships and being prepared to have detailed and informed conversations with key stakeholders. I am deeply curious about people and ideas and try daily to challenge my own bias. And in the spirit of “to thine own self be true”, I represent organizations with whom my personal values align and I am happiest and most effective when I sincerely believe in the mission of organizations I represent. And most of all, I try to conduct myself professionally and with kindness and respect towards everyone I meet. I truly believe you don’t have to agree with someone on policy/politics to find value in the conversation. Onward!
