Responsible for: convening partners to implement local strategies to prevent and end youth homelessness in Fairfield County and better integrate the health and housing systems to address the needs of vulnerable populations; analyzing system performance; using a collective impact approach to advance a shared agenda and common goals with key stakeholders such as homeless service providers, cross-sector systems such as education, workforce development, child welfare, advocates, funders, and people with lived experience; helping to secure funding including $3M in federal funds to advance the work of ending youth homelessness; recruiting, training, and supporting youth with lived experience, interns, and staff; ensuring use of best practice throughout the system; grant-writing; continued quality improvement; strategic planning to develop the mission, vision, and work plan for the organization.

Worked to replicate an innovate evidence-based model of supportive housing for the chronically homeless in 3 communities. Provided technical assistance and training so that providers can implement best practice. Develop cross-sector partnerships with agencies throughout Fairfield County to prevent and end homelessness for the most vulnerable and long-term homeless as well as youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. Program management and direct client services for the SIF program that uses housing as a platform to improve health outcomes and reduce Medicaid costs. Conduct all aspects of my job, including the systems level work, from a client focused perspective to ensure those with severe mental illness and/or chronic substance abuse issues have the supports necessary to be successful.

Provide supervision for case management and housing search staff, train, coordinate and evaluate the multi-disciplinary team in conjunction with the Executive Committee, compile quarterly reports, act as a liaison with partner agencies to optimize utilization and flow of services for clients, program evaluation

Dedicated clinician providing individual therapy, family therapy and weekly groups for at-risk adolescents involved with DCF and/or the juvenile justice system, coordinating intake meetings and discharge plans for youth, completing clinical assessments for youth, collaborating with Board of Education, DCF, probation, and parole, delivering in-service trainings to multidisciplinary team, organizing quarterly agency-wide utilization review.

Provided weekly outpatient services to families, individual adults, children, and adolescents in a clinic setting, on site at a homeless facility, and in a clubhouse model setting, conducted, scored, and interpreted psychological assessments, developed an outcome measure for the mentoring program, developed curriculums for a child social skills group and a parenting group, ran parenting group, provided community education to parents on the topic of positive parenting.

Conducted clinical assessments for clients who have been unable to obtain or maintain employment in the Welfare to Work program and their children, provided brief therapy, referrals to outside agencies, client advocacy with Dept. of Social Services, career development advisors, Dept. of Children and Families and physicians, home visits, consultations with case managers.

Provided individual and family therapy to domestic violence victims, collaborated with victim advocates, attorneys, Social Security Administration, Office of Victim Services, administered and scored self-report inventories (F-COPES, Zung Self Rating Depression Scale, PSI).

Provided individual therapy to at-risk adolescents through school-based health centers, collaborated with school staff, caregivers, probation officers, psychiatrists and Dept. of Children and Families, attended IEP meetings, offered support services to Reconnecting Youth teachers (class observation, consultation, collection of data for outcome study).

Worked in collaboration with CT Works to provide clinical services such as comprehensive assessments, referrals to outside agencies, short-term counseling, consultation with staff, and weekly workshops to unemployed clients and TANF recipients, managed EAP accounts, developed and delivered workshops to EAP clients.
