As a coach and consultant, I am a trusted partner, grounding presence, and natural collaborator, and I bring 30+ years in leadership, organizational development, and team-building experience to my work with clients. I work with people and organizations who are: in new leadership roles; in transition; interested in developing new awareness or a new perspective on their work and/or life; needing a different way forward and a different way of doing things; wanting to build their own leadership skills and style. As a coach and consultant, I partner with people, companies, nonprofit organizations, and communities for positive change. I have spent more than 25 years in the nonprofit sector helping to strengthen the capacity of people and organizations to address community and social justice issues, including in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, El Salvador, New York City, Washington, DC, and on Cape Cod. Since 1993, I've held key leadership positions with international organizations, foundations, and grassroots organizations, including two start-ups, and I've served on local, state-wide and national Boards and committees. My work has also included researching and reporting on social, environmental, and economic issues facing local communities. I've enjoyed working with nonprofit organizations and those in career and life transitions, as well as clients working in industries such as banking, manufacturing, natural resource management and mining, aeronautics, government, and arts management.In addition to being an ICF-certified Coach and holding an MA in International Development and a BS in Business Administration, some of my most gratifying and challenging learning came from being a foster parent with the Department of Children and Families for more than 10 years.
