Oversee 9 program areas in Technology and Service for a Mountainland Technical College, one of eight technical colleges under the Utah System of Higher Education. Manage and supervise program coordinators, instructors, curriculum, industry advisory members, accreditation, student completion and outreach. My position requires research to develop programs that benefit industry and student learning by building, updating and evolving educational programs that lead to the completion of students who are knowledgeable, skilled and ready to work in the changing technology and service industries. Through my work as a Director, my responsibilities impact the learning of thousands of students developing knowledge and skill in an effort to start entry level employment in technical and service industries. The metrics I am aligned with are the completion and placement of students in the programs developed in my area.During my employment I have been recognized as Employee of the Month. I was also recognized as an Outstanding Employee from the Mountainland Board of Trustees.My responsibilities also include certification as a Team Lead to evaluate and recommend compliance for technical institutions nationwide to be accredited through the Council on Occupational Education (council.org).

Worked with 7 School Districts and 2 Higher Education Institutions that made up the Mountainland Region. Coordinated a Career Pathway campaign to educate and help students understand careers and educational pathways to get them to their goal. Provided region-wide professional development to Career and Technical Education Instructors relevant to their Area of Study. Worked with Higher Education and Secondary Education to articulate courses that could be used for Dual Enrollment. Planned and carried out career exploration activities for secondary and post secondary students. Helped with development of new curriculum to introduce programming and coding to students in younger grades. Met regularly with secondary and post secondary education as well as business and industry to find ways to help students become more prepared for college and career.

Determined eligibility for benefits for customers that may have extenuating circumstances or that were denied for various reasons. Investigated circumstances that may have triggered a claim to be denied and determined if that claimant was eligible to be paid.

Managed all aspects of the State of Utah Flooring contract. Served as the State Flooring Representative Project Manager to meet, plan, order and arrange installation for State of Utah entities.
