As the person in charge of client relations at Stone Giant Labs, it is my responsibility to handle all interactions with our clients. I'm in charge of daily communication with clients during projects, and also oversee the designers and developers on the projects. I also have assisted with the design of various web projects and am in charge of overseeing the UX/UI design for our projects. I also am in charge of marketing strategy and execution and was a catalyst for redefining our company processes and services. Part of this includes running the social media channels for the company, focusing on Twitter.As a way to give back to the community and provide a place for web designers and developers to come together and learn, I was put in charge of launching and organizing a local meetup group, the San Gabriel Valley Web Designers and Developers Meetup Group.

As the Client Relations Coordinator at Discount Office Services, my main task was customer retention by driving and increasing sales among current customers. They had previously been experiencing a high customer turn-over rate due to increasing competition from big box retailers, and I helped increase the retention rate through customer visits, an emphasis on better customer service, and implementing newsletters with company updates and promotions. I helped increase sales within current customer accounts by increasing complementary category sales and encouraging single-sourcing with a new inventorying service. I was also in charge of marketing efforts and designed sales flyers and the newsletter, and ran the social media marketing for the company. In addition, I was a key member of the team that led a re-branding strategy meant to give the 20-year-old company a fresh, new look.

As a sales representative at Experiment Inc, I was in charge of new client acquisition and retention through b2b door-to-door marketing. In this position, I learned a lot about the sales cycle, overcoming objections, building the customer relationships, providing stellar service, and persistance. I was part of a team who piloted a new product to the LA market and learned first-hand about the need for agility and flexibility in our marketing approach.
