Art has been the core ever since Lisa Camargo, the company owner of Avaulte, was young. She left her corporate career with Johnson & Johnson (J&J) to pursue her passion and innate insight of art. While creating a new reality at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), she listened to artists and identified missing elements to what it took to create a career in art. Through this discovery, the concept of Avaulte was seeded.It became clear to Lisa that her corporate background and entrepreneurial spirit furthered her appreciation for artists and their needs. However, she came to a "fork in the road," having to choose to EITHER pursue her own artist career OR strengthen the careers of artists. Lisa chose the latter, molding a business based on entrepreneurial skills that she developed throughout the years.Avaulte, first a seed planted by Lisa Camargo, a business woman and artist, has now become a business mature model. Over the last few years, it has been created to gain engagement in the business field.
