They are also sometimes responsible for typesetting, illustration, user interfaces and web design. A core responsibility of the designer's job is to present information in a way that is both accessible and memorable.' That's what I do.I started Sanphire Design in 1999 and have been busy since - we design logos, various types of printwork and websites with or without content management systems using Wordpress. We also work with social media and SEO to ensure the sites we build function well.

Artist, working in Ireland in traditional materials and digital media.Recently further extending my professional design expertise I am using the fine lines and clear colours of my art and translating them into new formats, including textile and ceramic designs.I also in my role as designer with Catherwood Guitars played a key role in the design of the hand-built stringed instruments - drawing the shapes for the musicians to hold while enhancing the instruments voice and designing the details such as the logo and the distinctive black drumlin in the headstock in bog oak. I have exhibited at the Royal Ulster Academy (RUA) annual exhibition and have exhibited and sold art from many other venues.
