Managed CUI international programming in Cuba, Slovakia, Jamaica and the Philippines. Expanded CUI international partnerships into Ethiopia and Bosnia & Herzegovina. Supported the CUI to begin offering local economic development programming for international clients and attracted new funding for this work.

Coordinated the Institute’s international capacity development projects in Cuba, Jamaica, Philippines, Indonesia, Paraguay and Honduras. Undertook research projects, and developed skills building curriculum. Developed and organised conferences, seminars and training programs on leading-edge urban issues in Canada and internationally.

Acting as the Country Coordinator for Canada for this project that enables cities to link up and share solutions to common problems. The program forms part of a long-term strategy by the European Union to foster sustainable urban development. My role was to support the City-to-city cooperation on sustainable urban development.
