After working more than a decade in corporate public relations in the Washington, D.C. area, Lisa Brusio Coster started Coster Communications in 1997, an award-winning sole proprietorship. She currently works with a variety of clients developing strategic communications plans, writing and editing for internal and external audiences, conducting media relations, and managing special events. Lisa is a Baltimore native who got her start in the region working in promotions and news for several radio stations after receiving her bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. Lisa completed her graduate work in public communication at American University.She is the immediate past president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Maryland Chapter, the past president of the Independent Public Relations Collaborative (IPRC), and a past committee chair of Washington Women in Public Relations, and PRSA MD and National Capital Chapters. She has also been a Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor, a member of her church council, and a PTSA executive board member. Currently, she serves as a Stephen Minister for her church in Ellicott City, MD.Specialties: Coster Communications creates awareness through public relations.
