It wasn't until she collaborated with songwriter and artist, a girl named jaen, and producer, John McLucas, in 2018, that a pivotal moment arrived. This creative trio allowed Lisa to fully embrace her artistic vision, to take full control of her lyrics and production, leading to the development of her unique sound. The release of her cinematic pop anthem, “STARLET,” further solidified her sound, combining cinematic and trap elements with an arena-rocking sound and big pop melodies that stick in your head. But Lisa's music is more than catchy melodies; it's a conversation with the soul. She infuses her nostalgic pop sensibilities with a modern twist, weaving deeply personal lyrics that explore themes of self-discovery, empowerment, and resilience. Her collab with electronic producer and DJ, Alex Bochel, “Press Reset,” became a hit with over 100,000 streams on Spotify. In 2021, her electro pop single “Weigh Me Down” got nominated for Song of the Year at The Wavy Awards. Lisa's goal is to create a space for young minorities in music, connecting with her fans through genuine storytelling.
