• Lobbied United Nations delegates in Geneva, Switzerland during the 16th Session of the UN Human Rights Council about violations associated with implementing the death penalty. • Presented three-minute oral intervention about the death row phenomenon during interactive dialogue with the UN Special Rapporteur on Torture. • Prepared a 1500-word report for the UN website and an extensive research paper for distribution to Council delegates.

(Gacaca Court is a grassroots, community justice system aimed at promoting community healing by making the punishment of genocide perpetrators faster and less expensive to the state.)• Edited mission statement, five-year strategic plan, and project proposals for the Association of Independent Rwandan Journalists.
