Senior National Account ManagerGorenje Uk Limited Apr 2019 - Jun 2020Leeds, United KingdomI was approached by a manager I previously worked with to join Hisense UK and focus on developing the Gorenje brand in the UK following their takeover in 2018.I enjoyed the challenge of ‘rolling my sleeves up’ to help rebuild the brand - that was until Covid-19 hit the industry and I was made redundant. Here are a few of my achievements in those 14 months:1. Increased turnover by 57% in AO within six months by overhauling the range and implementing a joint promotional plan;2. I developed a premium range together with John Lewis which generated a threefold increase in sales 2019 Q4 vs Q3;3. I was tasked by the Hisense UK VP to help re-launch a ASKO in the UK. This involved contacting new customers, gaining their agreement and building a framework to cover all aspects of a brand launch (pricing, costs, logistics, marketing, service etc).I was made redundant due to the pandemic as Hisense made the decision to withdraw the Gorenje brand from the UK market and delay the UK launch of ASKO. -
