Responsibilities included:• Design, art direct & plan all photoshoots for Stitches• Organizing and art direct product photography• Design, direct and concept all marketing materials; including in-store signage, direct mailers,magazine/newspaper advertising, inter-office materials & the website• Manage and develop junior designers, interns & co-op students• Develop & maintain our vision & brand for Stitches• Work on all projects from concept to completion• Working with & negotiating with printers• Organize weekly meeting with marketing team & buying team

Responsibilities included:• Designed the magazine from scratch, along with 2 other designers & helped manage and create the workflow of the magazine and how all areas interact• Ensuring the look & feel of the magazine is maintained in every layout• Organizing and art directing all product photography• Brainstorming and collaborating with all editors for page layouts• Suggesting and implementing new and creative ideas, not only for design, but also for stories• Image retouching, colour correcting and clipping paths• Final file preparation for production• Checking and signing off on all proofs• Managing two full time designers• Making sure all pages are in on time and that we make our press deadlines• Making final decisions with the Art Director• Designed promotional ads & advertorials
