Delivers curriculum and Pitch Session events to allow in-person meetings between companies and DoD Science & Technology Scouts. Over 160 technologies served since launch. Participating companies secured more than $10 million in SBIR/STTR awards and received an estimated $10 million in equity investment while active in the program.

Lead Lorain County Community College Commercialization Center activities to support the Ohio Federal Research Network. Provided technology transfer, business development, and workforce development services to multiple industry and academic partners. Supported statewide initiative to develop technologies of importance to Wright Patterson Air Force Base and NASA Glenn Research Center missions.

Worked with LCCC Innovation Fund portfolio companies to secure resources to grow Ohio start-ups and provided coaching on accessing Ohio Third Frontier resources. Used knowledge of governmental policies and procedures to assist partner organizations in accessing the capital resources necessary to help their local programs succeed. Was a liaison between Innovation Fund America and the LCCC mentoring and funding programs on which the IFA programs are based.

Lorain County Community College

Developed and implemented non-procurement investment initiative for community college systems. Launched a repeatable, measurable, and scalable process based on proven LCCC model to support new funds in multiple states. Created fund prospectus, process map, document library, and training program to support sites in California and North Carolina.
