As VP Eng for Klutch, I managed the engineering team (iOS and Android). I am also the lead architect for the server side and wrote the backend, DB models and client APIs.

While I most enjoy solving problems in REST API design and figure out how and when to use standard Internet protocols, I also did some data modeling and engineering planning as a consultant. I worked with BranchTime, Gliimpse and Ilesfay in that capacity.

Linden Lab's Second Life is the premier massively scaled virtual world. At Linden Lab I architected their first system for indexing all virtual assets.- Worked with (mostly around) legacy systems in the critical path for SL rendering- Introduced a multi-DB index that collected data from tens of independent data sources into a common Cassandra store- Result: could quickly answer queries that were not possible beforeI was also an internally consulting architect for internationalization support for resident names, for XMPP/Jabber support for group chat, and for a public API for extended virtual land information.

At OSAF I started out managing the client protocol library work, but then planned and launched the Cosmo server effort, hiring and managing the server and Web engineers that built Cosmo. I also managed QA and program managers and designers.

At Xythos I hired and grew the server development team, and managed releases of Xythos WebFile server from 1.0 to 4.2. I introduced unit tests and code reviews and helped the bug reporting and prioritizing processes mature.
