Plan and implement educational and promotional activities, special events, public relations, exhibits, and other efforts to promote public awareness for the Sewer Utility Division of Kitsap County Public Works.

Keep Kitsap County informed with the latest updates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, including local data, resources, and updated guidance from local, state, and national sources. Distribute the COVID-19 daily update to online subscribers and followers on social media.

Provided overall program management, policy, strategic planning, budget, marketing and administration of the RideShare program. Served on regional transportation committees to incorporate transportation demand management (TDM) strategies and commuter data into regional transportation plans.

Coordinated the day-to-day work of the RideShare program, including interaction with program clients, regional employers, and organizational stakeholders; authored quarterly newsletter; coordinated marketing and outreach efforts to promote the use of alternatives to driving alone, including car/vanpooling, telework, transit, walking and biking.

Coordinated sponsored projects totaling over $45M in external funding to The University of Georgia. Managed operational budgets, grant proposals and reporting; produced biannual newsletter, authored articles and press releases to promote research; organized scientific conferences on local, national and international levels; created and maintained websites; coordinated personnel and visa paperwork, and performed other administrative duties as needed.

Provided a full range of administrative support to the Director of the SER-CAT sponsored research project within The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Duties included correspondence, purchasing, travel arrangements, meeting minutes, quarterly reports to funding agencies, grants and contract negotiations, event planning, newsletters, and website design and maintenance.

Managed all aspects of station promotions, contests and community outreach efforts; conducted weekly promotion meetings; coordinated a wide range of projects involving writing and editing radio scripts and press releases, live-on-location broadcasts, prize giveaways, design and placement of station advertising in other media outlets, and sponsorship of community events and non-profit organizations. Also performed duties of Sales Assistant and supervised remote broadcast technicians.

Provided customer service to clients and prospects, maintained client database in contact management software, prepared quotations and sales reports, researched prospects, arranged advertising and trade exhibitions, and coordinated mailings of product literature.
