As a C-Suite executive with 35 years of diverse experience in digital transformation, strategic and business planning, revenue generation, marketing and human capital at some of the world’s most prestigious organizations, I now have the best job on the planet – President and CEO of the Ad Council.At a time when the world faces immense uncertainty, I am enormously proud to lead an organization driving social impact at scale – most recently, with an agile, high-impact public health and education response to the COVID crisis. Together with our partners, we launched the most ambitious public education effort in our history designed to increase COVID-19 vaccine confidence, slow the spread of the virus, showcase mental health resources, honor our frontline workers and provide opportunities for workforce re-skilling.My career includes senior operating roles at Verizon and Viacom, where I launched and scaled new businesses, including Logo TV, the first cable network for LGBTQ audiences. At the Ad Council, I have led our team in reinvigorating our brand and rewiring a 75+ year organization with new capabilities, digital tools and strategic partners, growing its revenue, reach, relevance and impact.My commitment to innovation and equity informs my work on corporate and nonprofit boards including My Code Media, Guild Education, Encantos Media, World Economic Forum, Gods Love We Deliver and my alma mater Dickinson College.I was recently named one of Fast Company’s 2021 "Most Creative People in Business" and in 2020 I was awarded Non-Profit Marketer of the Year by AMA.
