As a Financial Advisory Partner at Deloitte LLP, Lisa founded the firms’s Aboriginal Client Services Practice in 1992, and later, Deloitte Wealth Management Services practice in 2002. Lisa is known for her ability to guide organizations, First Nations, boards, and trusts through the process of strategic transformation and growth. For more than 30 years she has worked with Aboriginal organizations and First Nations to create innovative solutions for governance and wealth management, building strong relationships with communities and working collaboratively to help them achieve economic independence. Lisa is deeply committed to building consensus in groups, understanding that inclusivity and attentiveness to the perspectives of diverse stakeholders is crucial to developing and implementing effective strategy to best achieve an organization’s goals. With a background in finance, valuation and accounting; and risk management she uses her broad range of experiences to create effective, accountable and transparent governance structures. Lisa's passionate commitment to the community and the accounting profession has garnered her notable recognition. She has been awarded a Fellowship by the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC. She is also the recipient of the Deloitte Practice Leadership Award and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Community Service Award.Since retiring from Deloitte after 33 years, Lisa is a now a financial consultant and a professional board member on a number of corporate and non-profit boards.
