Pondering, practicing, and sharing ideas about community peacebuilding, conflict transformation, nonviolence, and the sort of connections we need in a tricky world.Interested in both the "relations & conditions" needed for a just peace.Currently working for Quaker Peace and Social Witness (QPSW) on peacebuilding and nonviolence. This includes ongoing accompaniment work with peacebuilders in Britain and East Africa. My own practice includes: dialogue facilitation, restorative practice, conflict analysis, conflict coaching, mediation, developing communities of practice, and pondering lots.Current pondering includes undertaking a part time practitioner thesis on listening to the stories of people working on peace in communities, supervised by Rachel Julian & Robin Redhead at Leeds Beckett. This uses elements of participatory narrative inquiry, which I'm loving learning about.Previously, I coordinated a peacebuilding network of practitioners, activists, and scholars for over a decade at Peace Studies (Bradford).
