Brought on board to oversee PIL’s international launch of new furniture designs debut at the Salone Del Mobile’ in Milan, Italy. Designs were unique in that it was the first furniture line to usegraphite and composite materials. The booth that was built for the exhibition was made entirely of Nomex honeycomb, and resulted in a 1995 I.D. Magazine Design Award for Most Innovative Booth. Implemented and oversaw all business management aspects, public relations, goals of the launch and subsequent follow up to the exhibition resulting in an overwhelming success, garnering international recognition to the previously unknown company.* *Served as Senior Administrator to guide operational direction and launch.* *Developed & oversaw all budget aspects of project, initiated contracts, and acted as liaison for all partners, both foreign & domestic involved in launch.* *Handled all management & administrative duties including communication & correspondence, client relations, problem solving, and staffing.* *Developed a roadmap with contracted Italian and American P. R. firms to secure continual awareness of company ingenuity & products in the media.* *Debut resulted in publication in over 20 major design magazines, including ‘ArchitecturalDigest’, ‘Gap Casa’, ‘I.D.’, ‘The Washington Post’, ‘Metropolitan Home’, ‘Duomo’, & others.* *Significant pieces were chosen from the collection to be put on permanent display at the Museum of Modern Art in Houston & the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
