In both of my current professional endeavors - as Owner of FeinerHealth and Co-Founder of Sharp Again Naturally (SAN) - I am a change agent and advocate for a healthier lifestyle. Through early intervention and positive actions, I believe that each individual can measurably improve the quality of his/her life. At FeinerHealth, my focus is to improve the richness of life one individual at a time. SAN is a newer endeavor and provides ways to impact both at the individual AND societal levels. At SAN, we are on the front line helping people with memory loss. We offer a multi-causal, multi-therapeutic approach and serve individuals, caregivers and practitioners. As the population ages, we clearly would like more older Americans to maintain their brain health and continue to live independently for longer. The benefits would cascade, for example through improved workforce productivity as workers are less pre-occupied with aging relatives and less likely to require Leaves of Absence. I bring to my two current ventures a diverse set of life experiences e.g. living overseas for several years and even taking a year-long “spiritual sabbatical” some years later. My MBA training and early experience in business allows me to bring systematic approaches to running and growing our non-profit. As a volunteer and later Board leader at The New Jewish Home, I have been immersed in issues related to aging for over two decades. Currently, I enjoy speaking to corporate groups, non-profit organizations and community audiences on “Staying Sharp as We Age.” I am a board-certified health and wellness coach and have a private practice. In my spare time, I read historical fiction, play tennis and practice yoga.
