Teamed with architects, exhibit designers, refuge staff and managers, and contracting divisions to develop the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, a $32 million refuge dedicated to Tallgrass Prairie in Iowa. RESPONSIBILITIESEnsured coordination between exhibit, architecture and landscape designCollaborated with FWS staff and content experts to review submittals, negotiate consensus, and provide comments and direction for exhibit design and contentPrepared government estimates, reviewed A/E proposals and provided assessments to COR and CODuring fabrication and installation, served as the COTR (contracting officers technical representative). Reviewed shop drawings, graphic and fabrication submittals, and construction and installation progress, to ensure the work was correct and met quality requirements
