“Tell me and I forget; teach me and I may remember; involve me and I will learn.” Benjamin FranklinI have a very clear memory of the first impactful training program I attended. It was engaging, participatory, and I didn’t want it to end. The facilitators were passionate about their topic, the materials they used helped me for years later in my career, and the friends I made in that program are still mine today. This training changed the trajectory of my career: I wanted to help organizations be successful and help people be productive and effective in their work.I love creating training programs that are effective, engaging, life-changing, and make an impact on both the organization and the employee. How do I do this? I look for gaps in knowledge and come up with ways to fill them. • Step 1: I work with organizational leaders, subject matter experts, and employees to analyze the performance gap. What is happening? Why isn’t it happening? What should happen? What can be done to improve the issue? Can the issue be helped with training? If so, what is the primary goal of this training and who should participate?• Step 2: If training can be a solution to the performance problem, I design the training by engaging key stakeholders, determining leaning objectives, and mapping and planning the intervention.• Step 3: I develop the intervention by determining the instructional strategies, media and methods; create assessments and instructional tools; determine the best delivery methods; identify facilitators; produce the learning product; and create evaluation mechanisms.• Step 4: Deliver the intervention! • Step 5: Evaluate the effectiveness, get feedback from all involved, make additions and revisions, and re-deliver – always looking for ways to improve and grow.I would love to work for an organization wanting to implement these key steps to improve their organization and employee performance. My key strengths include: translating complex technical information into simplified training material; adult learning theories; learning needs analysis; developing curriculum and process maps; project and program management; inter-personal communication; working both collaboratively and independently; writing, editing, and proofreading. Proficient in Articulate 360 suite; Microsoft Office 365 SharePoint, Teams, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel; Learning & Development; Curriculum Development; and Project Management. Please contact me for more information: Lsfrye323@gmail.com
