GOD WINKS is a labor of love. We are a fully NJ DCA licensed Class F Cooperative Sober Living managed home: we are NOT a self-governed house, God Winks is home to ladies who recognize that recovery is so much more than sobriety, embrace their personal growth and are blessed to travel the journey together. To be considered for God Winks, residents must stay sober, work, go to meetings, perform community service, agree to the rules and be willing to (actually, excited about) our vision for the house. Although we are tasked with providing a safe, sober environment for our residents, our vision is much more. Our concurrent goals are to nurture each lady’s recovery, building a recovery “family,” as well as being an asset to the community. We are ladies of dignity and grace, each an integral part of a positive culture that is proudly identified and recognized as “God Winks.”

NEW JERSEY RECOVERY ADVOCATES INC. is the premier grassroots network of volunteers engaging the public and various organizations to educate, prevent substance use disorders and advocate for recovery from addiction. Our goals are to:1. Educate the public on substance use disorders;2. Provide hope and inspiration to those struggling with the disease of addiction;3. Demonstrate and celebrate the reality of recovery from substance use disorders in our community;4. Eliminate the isolation, shame, stigma and discrimination associated with mental health and substance use disorders;5. Empower individuals and families to seek freedom from the bonds of addiction;6. Increase dialog and collaboration in the substance use continuum including, but not limited to, the areas of prevention, treatment and recovery.7. Remove barriers from those who seek healthy and productive lives in recovery.

The Father Jim McKenna Memorial Fund is a nondenominational 501(C)3 organization founded to carry on the lifesaving recovery work of its namesake. Father Jim McKenna was a charismatic and delightfully funny recovering Catholic priest. He served the people of Bergen County (NJ) for most of his career.Sadly, in 2006 Father Jim died from brain cancer. However, his legacy lives on in the works he started on behalf of those seeking recovery for themselves or their loved ones through The Father Jim McKenna Memorial Fund. The monthly Recovery Mass, recovery advocacy and financial support for the needy are initiatives Father Jim whole-heartedly believed in and asked his followers to do the same.Whether it be through prayer, goods or service, this is the work which we faithfully carry out. We endeavor to offer hope to the suffering, demonstrate the reality of recovery from addiction and serve to eliminate the discrimination and stigma attached to the all too prevalent disease of addiction. And we embrace a future where all can live healthy and full lives, including freedom from the bondage of substance abuse.

GOD WINKS, located in the Pascack Valley of Bergen County, New Jersey, was, and continues to be, a labor of love. A historic 1,675 sq. ft. house was painstakingly restored, and a home was created through an extraordinary amount of hard work, generosity, kindness and love. We are committed to provide a safe, supportive sober environment for our ladies to nurture their recovery, cultivate their potential, flourish in their community while enjoying the journey! This is not treatment: this is not a halfway house. The Manager oversees the household, enforces regulations and is here to encourage you in your recovery. We embrace the philosophy of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous as our experience has been Twelve Step Programs provide the best opportunity for recovery. The gift of living with others in recovery to obtain support, has been proven to work.

Working for the Honorable Eugene H. Austin, J.S.C., Criminal Division, Bergen County Superior Court. Supporting the court through legal research, reviewing motions, preparing legal memorandums, pre-sentencing reports and various tasks as assigned.

Within the Surrogate and Contested Matrimonial divisions, assist court attorneys as needed: conducting legal research, prepare memorandums, participate in pretrial and settlement conferences and various duties as determined by the Westchester County Surrogate, the Honorable Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr., J.S.C.

Responsible to evaluate, identify and implement system tools to enhance retail and independent store operations. Train personnel on select systems. Liaison between store management and corporate on all aspects of retail operation affecting inventory.

Responsible for the overall management of customer inventories via a Manugistics SCSP system. Set up customer databases, trouble-shoot system, implement V.M.I. (C.R.P.), generate forecasts and process orders accordingly. Interface with account representatives, various Unilever departments and sales, as needed. Prepare performance reports, special projects and account presentations on a regular basis. Proficiently utilize SAP to support customer orders.

Responsible for the nationwide scheduling of all liquid products to meet customer service and inventory goals, using Manugistic’s Finite Planning system. Significant impact on asset utilization, staffing and labor. Coordinated the introduction of new liquid products and product changes. Published key performance measures for all liquid production facilities. Deployed finished goods to warehouses based on forecasts.

Reporting to the Vice President of Manufacturing, responsible for publishing global inventory levels, maintaining inventory reduction programs and measuring progress towards specific goals. Develop, track and publish key performance measures for Manufacturing, Production Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Quality, Shipping and Inventory. Interface with Cost Accounting and Finance to identify, analyze and resolve issues which may affect profitability. Managed and reconciled physical inventories.

Responsible for the planning, production and inventory of five vitamin lines. Utilize MRP to project resource requirements. Interface with marketing, manufacturing and vendors. Assist in the implementation of JIT. Train planners and master schedule finished goods as required.

Responsible for the planning, scheduling and control of syringe production. Allocated product worldwide. Assisted in the implementation of programs required to support division goals in manufacturing, productivity improvement and planning. Ran physical inventories at warehouses.
